Refund and Returns Policy

At Zamish.in, your satisfaction is our priority. We want you to love every product you purchase from us. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. Please read this policy carefully to understand our return, exchange, and refund process for beauty and personal care products.

1. Return Window

  • You may request a return or exchange within 15 days from the date of delivery.
  • For defective, damaged, wrong, or counterfeit products, we accept returns as per applicable law, even if the window has passed (subject to verification).

2. Eligible Products & Conditions

To be eligible for return or exchange, the product must meet all of the following:

  • Be unused, unopened, and in its original condition (sealed packaging intact, no tampering)
  • Include original packaging, labels, tags, invoice, and all accessories/manuals
  • Not be expired or close to expiry at the time of return

Important Note for Beauty & Personal Care Products Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Opened or used products (including trial-size items)
  • Products where the seal has been broken
  • Personal hygiene items (e.g., intimate washes, razors, wax strips)
  • Customized or personalized products

We strongly encourage you to check product descriptions, ingredients, and reviews before purchasing.

3. Reasons for Return/Exchange We Accept

  • Wrong product delivered (different from what was ordered)
  • Damaged or defective product upon delivery
  • Expired or near-expiry product
  • Product does not match the description/advertised features

For change-of-mind returns (if product is completely unopened & unused), we may accept at our discretion, but shipping charges for return will be borne by the customer.

4. How to Initiate a Return/Exchange

  1. Go to My Orders section on Zamish.in
  2. Select the order and click “Request Return/Exchange”
  3. Choose the reason and upload clear photos of the product (including packaging, invoice, and any damage/defect)
  4. Submit the request within the 15-day window

Our team will review your request within 48 hours and respond via email/WhatsApp with approval and pickup instructions (if applicable).

5. Return Shipping

  • For defective/wrong/damaged products → Free return pickup (we arrange via our logistics partner)
  • For change-of-mind → You bear the return shipping cost (use a reliable courier and share tracking details)

6. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect the returned product at our warehouse (usually 3–7 working days after pickup):

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 working days (as per RBI guidelines)
  • Card/UPI refunds may take 7–14 working days depending on your bank
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refund will be issued to your bank account (provide details during request)

Note: We do not refund original shipping charges unless the return is due to our error (wrong/defective item). Refunds exclude any promotional discounts if the order no longer qualifies.

7. Exchange Process

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability
  • If the exchanged item is not available, we will issue a store credit or full refund (your choice)

8. Damaged in Transit / Missing Items

Report within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange replacement or refund promptly.
